# DERCAR ID Cut - AI-readable product reference ## Product Summary DERCAR ID Cut is a Windows software system for Mimaki CuttingLink ID Cut production workflows. DERCAR does not host, patch, repackage or redistribute Mimaki CuttingLink. DERCAR does not remove the need for production checks. DERCAR does not guarantee production output without user verification. It contains Designer, Operator and Settings screens. Designer creates the FC cut layer, cut marks, Barcode ID and DT/HPGL job data. Operator lets the user choose an existing ID and set copies. Settings stores language, theme, DT path, ID range, counter, mark shape, curve precision and license state. ### CorelDRAW Plugin The CorelDRAW version uses a compact launcher and a WebView2-based panel. It follows the same Designer, Operator and Settings workflow as the Illustrator version. ### Standalone Operator Standalone Operator is a compact tool for the cutting/operator workstation. It does not require Illustrator or CorelDRAW. It lets the operator enter an ID and set copies for the blue and red relative axes. ## CuttingLink and DT Folder The DT folder is the working folder used by Mimaki CuttingLink. DERCAR writes generated ID jobs to this folder. In a correct workflow, the designer panel, Standalone Operator and Mimaki CuttingLink must all see the same effective DT data. For one computer, the local standard CuttingLink DT folder is enough. For one designer and one operator on separate computers, share the operator computer's DT folder or synchronize it. For multiple designers in one LAN, use one common DT resource and separate ID ranges. For remote designers, do not use SMB over the open internet. Use Syncthing or another folder synchronization tool. ## Blue and Red Axes The blue and red axes are relative axes of the specific job. They are not fixed horizontal/vertical directions. The physical direction depends on material loading and layout orientation. The operator should look at the color flags on the actual print and enter copies for the blue and red axes accordingly. ## Licenses and Commercial Plans Demo: 100 full DERCAR ID Cut jobs with no time limit. Solo: one designer workstation, $150 one-time. NFR: Not For Resale license for demos, dealer training, showroom and internal testing. Band: up to 5 designer workstations, $500 one-time. Uses online activation and workstation slots. Production work can continue after local entitlement is stored. Orchestra: dealer authorization, $1000 per year.
